To whom it may concern,
Order#409709 from location 1149 W. Diversey, Chicago, IL, 60614. I placed an order on 10/21/11. The delivery man was very rude and angry. The delivery notes were specific with 2 contact numbers. There is no reason to complain not just to myself, the customer, AND to the concierge at the delivery location. It is not necessary for the delivery person to complain about bad tips & bad customers. Just for the record, the delivery was only 0.4 miles away!!!!!!!! I hope this bad attitude is acknowledged and addressed because I will not place any future orders with this company.

This complaint is regarding one of the delivery drivers, not an order (although I have ordered in the past).

I was driving west on Diversey Ave. stopped at a red light. The light turned green and as I was accelerating, a Sarpino's driver in a silver sedan with Illinois plate L22 2140 sped past to my right, as if it were a multi lane road.

I called the location when I got home to lodge a complaint with the manager on duty.

I have ordered from the Licoln Park Saprino's over 2 dozen times and have always been very satisfied with my order. I have ordered the same things, different things - it didn't matter, it was all delivered fresh, hot or cold as required and very quickly. Which is why I so suprised when the large green salad I ordered this time was soggy, wilted and totally unappealing. I hope this was a one time thing, but still I was very disappointed, all the more so because, as I said, I am used to everything being very fresh, crisp and appetizing.

It's been 110 minutes since we placed our order. We ordered our pizza online a 8:10. It is now 10:00 and we sill have no pizza. The delivery notification came out one hour ago, so the pizza has been siting in a car for at least an hour. We have called twice to get the status of our order and both times were old it would be a matter of minutes. I choose Sarpino's because I used to feel you were dependable and consistent. This experience will keep me from purchasing from your company in the future. Best.

I am not dissatisfied with the pizza-it is awesome. I am incredibly dissatisfied with the website. Why are there no prices on anything on the menu?! You have lost one order tonight because I refuse to call and order something I do not know the price of. And I also refuse to sign up and order online, why go through all the hassle when you can just pick a phone and call it in? God forbid human beings might have to talk to one another.

I order pizza online from Sarpinos on a weekly basis. It is my favorite pizza in the city and I have my go-to order that never fails me (pepperoni and cilantro large pizza and an order of breadsticks). I can always count on consistency and timeliness with Sarpinos. However yesterday, for the first time in many months, I found myself disappointed in Sarpinos product. My pizza was much to saucy, so much so that sauce was leaking out on top of the cheese, even before I took a slice out of the box. I had to physically remove the cheese layer, wipe down the sauce, and replace the cheese. I had almost a plate full of entirely sauce by the time I was done with just 2 small slices. I like Sarpinos because I know what I'm getting and it holds true with each and every order. If I liked extra sauce, I'd go to Dominos or somewhere else with poor topping proportions. The sauce turned me off from the pizza and I'm hesitant to order again next time, knowing of my current experience. I just wanted to make this known, as I may try and specifiy that my pizza come from a different location next time if I choose to order from Sarpinos. Thanks.

You guys drop your menus off like crazy at our hotel but when it time to pay out the incentives from us giving you guys business, every gets amesia or busy to the point where they can't get to you right now. I'm talking about the diversey store. Even the delivery person acted as if he did not know what I was talking about when I mentioned that I had 10 coupons that I wanted to cash in. I guess I'll have to call you guys back again.

I absolutely love this sarpinos compared to every sarpinos ive had. You guys make the pizza PERFECT every single time and im completely sad that i moved from lincoln park because the sarpinos on diversy was on point every single time....i ordered there so much that they remembered my special order or two blue cheese and two marinara sauces!! I love the sarpinos on diversy i wish i had some right now! Sarpinos ROCKS!!!!

Hands down!!!! THE BEST PIZZA PLACE IN CHICAGO!!!
I have lived in Chicago for several years now and I discovered this place a year ago. Since then, I've been ordering from this location at least twice a week and have never been disappointed. I can describe the food in one word - AMAZING!!!! They offer a huge variety of pizzas, salads , sandwiches and appetizers. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have lots of favorites. Yes , Sarpino's , this is how much I love your food. I have been to the other Sarpinos in Downtown but somehow this specific location leads with the quality of food, taste and service. I have recommended Sarpino's to all my friends and colleagues . From now on , when I have friends visiting from out of town , this would be the only pizza place and the only location i would order from !

At approximately 10:30 in the evening, a friend and I went into the Sarpinos restaurant to order food. While we were waiting, the workers began to speak in another language, (Romanian/Bulgarian) in front of us. Unfortunately for them, we speak their language and were able to understand all of the derogatory comments that they made at us, referring to us as "fags" and "silly fags". I have already contacted my attorney due to the discrimination and I also contacted the restaurant. The manager refused to come to the phone and instead allowed the person who answered act as the 'assistant manager' because the manager was 'busy'. I discussed my concerns regarding how we were treated and the disgusting words that they said. The response was that he spoke with the workers that were on duty that evening and that they were joking between themselves. He also went on to say that I could not prove anything. I can assure you that not only the discrimination, but the neglect of the managerial staff to a very serious situation, has provoked me to contact my lawyer. Not only am I going to seek legal retribution, but I am also going to ensure that there is not one person who is in any close approximation, that will give your company business. This is a disgrace that you need to handle, with me, or within a courtroom.

I ordered food at 3:00am, and this sarpinos delivers til 4am. I placed the order at 3:02am but the time on my confirmation page said 4:02. I immediately called Sarpinos to add my credit card and update my phone number and NOBODY answered the phone. The phone rang for 15 minutes straight at one point. I order from you all about twice a month, and I also work at the Palmer House Hilton, nights until 2AM and refer between 3-5 guests to Sarpinos for late hours. I will NOT recommend Sarpinos any more because of this dissapointment.

I have never had your pizza before and I was going to suggest that you have an option for extra meat when ordering, prior to me eating it of course. But as I started eating my personal pizza I noticed that it was more than enough, next time I will order a larger size.

it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Really it is. The most important thing I've noticed was the amazing aroma, which I later learned was due to the robust sauce and soft cheese packed with flavor. The sauce tasted like a real tomato sauce and it had a nice oregano flavor.

Sarpino's Lincoln Park is THE cleanest pizza delivery joint in town. I work in the neighborhood and praise them for opening up a business at the Lincoln/Racine/Diversey location. It was much needed. The staff is overly friendly and the menu is phenomenal. For those who don't adore Chicago style pizza and want a basic thin, but puffy crust pizza, it rocks. Not to mention all the basic toppings, but unique items, too. I often order salads and sandwiches with custom requests to add and take off items. They ALWAYS make the order right. A chain name, but absolutely independently staffed and owned with dedication to their business.
